Nearly everyone would agree that J.K. Rowling is a success, and yet when asked to give the commencing speech for Harvard graduation, she chose to speak about the benefits of failure and the importance of imagination. The transition from childhood to adulthood so often involves developing a fear of failure and losing our innate imagination. What can we learn from this speech about the value of failure and imagination for our own lives?
